About Me

Originally from Hawai’i, USA, now based in Asia, Jaclynn is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in philosophy while working in Taiwan as a university lecturer. In addition to academic work, Jaclynn works as a journalist and published writer on various platforms, and is an activist working in the field of women’s rights and gynocritical research. She is co-founder and chair member of the NGO Taiwan Women’s Association 臺灣女性協會, and volunteers with various other non-profit organizations. A heterodox thinker with a love of free speech, her passions include traveling, history, critical thinking, and challenging the status quo.
